The illustrious World Economic Forum\u2019s October 2020 report \u201cResetting the Future of Work <a href=\"https:\/\/axveco.us16.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=ba577cce446dae2301d305f35&amp;id=e05b06b232&amp;e=407f638b51\">Agenda<\/a>\u201d, calls for reskilling the workforce with data and digital skills.<\/p>\n<p>Against this urgent imperative, <a href=\"https:\/\/axveco.us16.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=ba577cce446dae2301d305f35&amp;id=1380b2a255&amp;e=407f638b51\">Computable<\/a> highlights the abject failure of so many organisations to drive value from data and attributes this to a breakdown between business management and the data analytics team.\u00a0 Most AI models fail to progress beyond the data analyst\u2019s laptop!<\/p>\n<p>Why are so many traditional organisations struggling with the shift to new data, digital and platform-oriented business models that are transforming our world and critical to their survival?<\/p>\n<p>To answer this, we must consider that we are in a change of era \u2013 a fourth industrial revolution &#8211; and this is being <em>accelerated<\/em> by Covid-19.\u00a0 There is an overwhelming imperative to reskill the workforce to work <em>together with<\/em> data and AI driven machines, recast the business model and develop digital leadership capability at the executive and senior management levels.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div  class='hr av-av_hr-23b3846cdd0fbd0e234720a594f6db24 hr-default  avia-builder-el-2  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_textblock '><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-kh0f91qv-312b70346d8fe436899a8bbf7eb19df7 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4>Creating Digital Leadership to become Fit for the Future<\/h4>\n<p>Many sectors of the economy were already being disrupted by data driven and platform businesses before Covid caused the double shock.\u00a0 The data driven businesses already enjoyed an order of magnitude higher productivity and value generating potential <em>before<\/em> Covid-19.\u00a0 During 2020, many of these digital leaders have doubled in value whilst traditional businesses on average have declined by 17%.<\/p>\n<p>The growing market power of Big Tech has attracted regulator attention.\u00a0 In Europe and the US, regulators are looking at whether Big Tech has become too powerful.\u00a0 The US announced an investigation into Google and its market practices in October.<\/p>\n<p>Governments look to AI as a national strategic capability for post Covid growth.\u00a0 With an expected shift in employment opportunity foreseen post Covid, many governments are\u00a0viewing AI as a strategic capability and stimulating the re-education of people to work with data and AI in the future.<\/p>\n<p>It is therefore imperative to transition to a future proof business model <em>during<\/em>the Covid pandemic.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div  class='hr av-av_hr-23b3846cdd0fbd0e234720a594f6db24 hr-default  avia-builder-el-4  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_textblock '><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-kh0fagw7-088132bb79c7c84368d55de8a1afb2b8 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h4>How we are helping to create digital leadership<\/h4>\n<p>We have evolved a number of new services which help you win in the digital world:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><em><strong>Data Driven Business<\/strong><\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/axveco.us16.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=ba577cce446dae2301d305f35&amp;id=dea2d6a7fd&amp;e=407f638b51\"><em><strong>series<\/strong><\/em><\/a><em><strong> helps you set the digital agenda<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nWe have helped a range of clients to understand the new business environment and the changes it requires to their business model.
