OpenAI, Dall-E and ChatGPT
Welcome to this short course on OpenAI and two of its applications – Dall-E and ChatGPT.
The purpose of this course is to help you understand what OpenAI is and how to start using it. Our view is that AI will not replace humans but that the humans who use AI are already replacing the humans who don’t. This translates to you being more productive when you use AI based (smart) tools rather than simple (dumb) tools such as Excel or Word. We aim to help you become one of the AI enabled (augmented) humans who is successful with AI!
This simple and short learning path has the following objectives:
- Explain what OpenAI is
- Demonstrate the two main applications within OpenAI – ChatGPT and Dall-E
- Describe how it works technically (including a deep dive for enthusiasts and nerds)
- Highlight a range of risks and legal questions (which you need to know)
